The set is made up of an even mix of wood & sandstone flagstone tiles, and baked earth / water.
They have been painted like a desert oasis.
I've used sandstone for the flagstone tiles, and a baked earthy brown for the cracked tiles (a bit like red earth in a drought). The "plain squares" I've painted blue like water, and the wood has a pale dry brush on it like sand brought in on the feet.

Not the most exciting feature perhaps, but to those of us with limited storage space it's a very useful one!
Due to small parts and the inclusion of magnets, tiles are not suitable for children under 14. Magnets are dangerous if swallowed. Please don't eat the tiles or magnets, it will not be a good time for anyone involved!
