Adventurer's Pack, Painted to Commission

  • $149.00

Tax included.

Currently out of stock. Something has come up with my personal life that needs me more, so I won't have time to dedicate to painting until February (2024).

Sorry about that!

Commission Painting

Like the terrain but don't have time to paint it?

I am offering a painting-on-commission service for terrain. Examples of my terrain painting can be seen in the product pictures all across the website.

There are currently 4 standard painting options available for the Adventurer's Pack. I am open to other requests - but please discuss before you purchase if you want something different beyond just colors!

Lead time on painted terrain sets is usually one week but may increase during busy times.

Choosing Options

Please choose two of the options and let me know how you want them painted by adding a note to your order as you go through checkout.

Please note: We cannot offer two surfaces with the same texture for each tile (for example, we cannot have green flagstones one side and red flagstones on the other).

Example Order Note:

Hi Annabelle, I would like my Adventurer's Pack to be painted with a number 2 on one side and number 4 on the other side. Can you do 4 in dark blue instead of red? Cheers!

Breakdown in additional cost:

I like to be fair with my pricing but for the extra cost here's some extra transparency so you can decide for yourself!

Generous double-coat of high-quality primer: £1.50

The Army Painter paints and materials: £0.66

Time (I charge minimum wage for 3h time / set, extra time is not charged): £31.26

Two layers of varnish, one gloss, one The Army Painter Matt: £1.16

If you want to commission your terrain to be painted in a different way to the options you see here:

I'm happy to paint it in different ways or to use different methods (such as flock between the tiles, using transfers or scenery sand). Cost will depend on requirements and scale.

Contact me either on Discord or by email at and we can work something out :)

Bring your tabletop RPG games to life with our magnetic, double-sided, modular dungeon tiles.

The Adventurer's Pack is great as a starter dungeon tileset or as an expansion to The Dungeon Lord pack. It's a good size to make five room dungeons, or medium sized battle-maps.

Four modular D&D dungeon tiles snapping together thanks to hidden magnets

These modular dungeon tiles snap together.

Build and rebuild as much as you like!

This is because there are free-spinning magnets hidden within each terrain tile!

Say goodbye to fiddling with clips and hello to snap on accessories

Builds vertically

Not only is this system faster, it's also easier to build in three dimensions!

The world isn't 2 dimensional, your maps shouldn't be either!

Universal Connection

No more trying to force repelling magnets together!

These terrain tiles have magnets hidden inside that auto-rotate to always snap together.

A really smooth gif (if I do say so myself) of a modular realms dungeon tile spinning around showing off how it is double sided with a wooden texture and an outdoors flagstone effect

Modular Realms dungeon tiles aren't just magnetic, they're also double-sided!

This means each tile gives you twice as many options and you end up with less stuff to store!

In a way, you get twice as much bang for your buck! :D

Modular Realms dungeon tiles pack away into an epic looking book box! It was designed by one of my friends and players, Artelocat!

Tiles flatpack away

Not the most exciting feature perhaps, but to those of us with limited storage space it's a very useful one!

You can even store your dungeon tiles in our Wizards Spellbook, a box disguised as an ancient tome on your bookshelf.

Choose from four surface textures available.

You can choose which two out of these four easy textures to use for your dungeon tile set, or just go for a mixed pack!

The four different terrain surface options for Modular Realms DnD Dungeon tiles are wood, cracked stone (1 inch squares with a network of interlocking cracks running across it), flagstone (a paving of different size and shape rectangular shapes made to look like a wall or road), and plain stone. The plain squares are great for pairing with dungeon decals.

This dungeon tileset comes unpainted, if you want a painted set go here!

The Adventurer's pack also includes magnetic walls that instantly snap onto floor tiles.

The modular dungeon tiles have the standard 1 inch grid incorporated into their design. The textures are deeply cut into the tile, make them easy to paint.

So what does the Modular Realms Adventurer Pack actually contain?

You get 39 tiles as an even mix of different sized floor tiles as well as 12 wall pieces.

1x1 double-sided floor tiles  - 9 pieces

2x2 double-sided floor tiles  - 9 pieces

3x3 double-sided floor tiles  - 9 pieces

1x1 cobblestone tiles - 6 pieces

2x1 cobblestone tiles - 6 pieces

With their user-friendly design, these magnetic DnD tiles provide an easy and practical way for DMs to create memorable gaming sessions, even when time and space are limited.

Plus, they're just fun to play with!

And guess what else?

We plant trees with every order!

One tree is planted in managed woodlands with every order of DnD dungeon tiles

I am proud to tell you that with every order made a tree gets planted, taking us one step further into the restoration of our planets forests.

I have partnered with One Tree Planted and all trees planted are done so in managed woodland as part of genuine sustainable projects.

You're also supporting a small business!

A picture of the founder of Modular Realms and maker of DnD Terrain Annabelle Collins. I'm smiling at the camera in a "I think my smile might have frozen" kind of way and the background is space because space is cool.

I'm Annabelle :) I design all the terrain pieces myself.

Modular Realms was a weekend crafting project that "accidentally snowballed" so I'm still a bit new to running a business!

I'm trying to make Modular Realms the kind of business I would want to support. I hope you do too!

I mean ... they're pretty awesome dungeon tiles if I do say so myself ;)

Tiles are made in Yorkshire, the UK. Fun fact! The manufacturer I work with is based in a really nice medieval village. :D It's really cool to visit!

Due to small parts and the inclusion of magnets, tiles are not suitable for children under 14. Magnets are dangerous if swallowed. Please don't eat the tiles or magnets, it will not be a good time for anyone involved!

    Awesome magnetic tiles!!

Let's just say that my expectation were high and they were met!

    Lovely tiles, lovely store

I ordered my first Modular Realms tiles about a year ago and I love them so much I bought a whole batch more! The standard sets are just what you need to get started and the "book" cases are great for storage. That being said, I couldn't get enough! With my second order, I tried this custom-painted set, and Annabelle is so nice to work with on the custom colors I wanted. The pieces turned out beautiful and I can't wait to pull out my new cave-colored tiles and fancy red flooring.
If (let's be real--when) I order again, I'll probably get more custom-painted pieces because these were great. Modular Realms has got at least one big fan across the pond ;)

Eyyyy! It was a lot of fun to paint! Your idea of getting a color scheme to match with Dwarven Forge tiles was a really good one! I might steal that and make it a regular option in the future ;)
You were a joy to work with!
And thank you for taking the time to write me a review - really appreciate it :) :)
